Generally speaking, step 1 is always to scan for spyware. The best free option is to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from http://www.download.com.
If that doesn't fix anything, I would also download CCleaner, which is another excellent freebie. You can use this to clear all of the temp files like "miloopus36" suggested, and also use it to remove bad data from your registry.
9 times out of 10, these two things will fix just about any problem.

well one thing u could do is to empty your cookies and temp internet files using the disk cleanup tool try and see what happens

I have a new laptop, still using old CWW aircard for internet connection. The only remaining bug I can't seem to fix is with GW. Everytime I sign on I can only open one or two threads, or make one or two posts, then it's like the site freezes up. It shows to be processing, but nothing happens. So I have to sign off. Go to another site, wait ahwile, then sign back for another one or two posts, then repeat.
Any suggestions?
